Academic Tutoring
We are very excited to offer academic tutoring at Spotlight Studios focusing on reading, writing, and math! Our philosophy is to teach with love first and coach students along to where they can excel academically. We also to our best to incorporate FUN while learning so kids don’t feel like its “school work”. We work closely with parents to monitor progress and set goals with the student for success. Meet the Teacher
Mrs Ikeda has 10 years of classroom experience teaching Kindergarten - 2nd grade at Adventure Christian School as well as 3 years of full time private tutoring. She brings her complete knowledge of a child development in the early elementary years and teaches with patience, love, and fun! She is also 100% familiar with what Preschoolers need to know before entering Kindergarten as she has done readiness assessments for multiple years. Mrs. Ikeda is offering academic tutoring for K-6th grade Math (including common core) as well as K-6th reading! She is also certified in the Wilson Reading Method.
