Angelique (Angel) Cannon (B.A.E.)
Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theater
Angel is a Special Education teacher, dance instructor, and choreographer. She has choreographed musicals for adults and children, church productions, recitals, and dance routines. With her Bachelors in Special Education and Elementary Education with additional certification in Environmental Ed and Music Ed, Angel has spent the last 7 years teaching K-8 Special Day Classes. Additional experience also includes serving as a Dance Educator (Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and competitive team), Princess and Character Performer, Children's Godly Play storyteller at The Table UMC, 20 years of dance experience, and contributing to over 30 productions both onstage and behind the scenes. Angel's passion as an educator is creating friendly, welcoming spaces that are inclusive, informative, and leave others feeling empowered.
Brittany Cody- Bays - BA
Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theater
Graduating from William Jessup in the arts, Brittany comes to Spotlight with a long list of experience from voice instruction, to piano, to musical theater, to dance and more. In addition to teaching through Spotlight she also directs the woman’s junior chorus at William Jessup University. She has also choreographed, coached and performed in many musical productions in the area including William Jessup productions as well as is an annual performer in the Celebrate America production in July. Her passion for music and dance is something she loves sharing with students!
Meghan Atherton - B.A.
Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theater
Meghan is a dancer and actress from Rocklin, California she has studied dance all her life, becoming a member of the Granite Oaks Middle School Dance Team, The Rocklin High School Dance Team and competed competitively with DNA Dance Collective and on Chico State's Expressions Dance Team. She has taught dance for over 5 years to children of all ages, levels and styles!
